Question from a Reader
Norm wrote in with an issue he’s having getting a report to format correctly – I thought I’d pass it along and see if you knew of an option or solution. I’ll publish back the solution(s) here if anyone has some ideas.
"I was recently roped into being the Treasurer for the local Recreational Football league. They have a roster created in a MS Word document that they have had to fill out by hand. I had turned their registration database and most of the reports into a website using SQL2005 and SSRS. Here’s the rub, In the MS Word document, there are slots for 15 players on a page that has their names, DOB. etc. So I created a SSRS report with a table. If there are only 12 players on a team then the 12 print with the borders around them (like an excel table with gridlines), how do I get the remaining 3 lines to print blank (with the borders/gridlines) to print, to make the 15 so I can mimic the manual form."
