Virtual Conference Site Goes Live
I’m happy to announce that the SQL Server Fundamentals Virtual Conference site is live! You can get a great feel for what’s being offered, the session layout and much more. It’s a LOT of content and sessions, all aimed at getting you up and going with SQL Server. We’ll be paying attention to the core, base issues – from setup to security to features and more. We’ll also have a track dedicated just to reviewing SQL Server 2008.

By registering now, you can take part in helping out with the session selections and scheduling – we’d love to have your input and make sure the conference is all that you need it to be. You may have seen other online "conferences" – really just thinly disguised sales pitches – this is NOT one of those. You’ll see when you look at the session block schedule, it’s all about content, providing access and help.

The conference will run Feb 19, 20, 21, just one week before the launch festivities for SQL Server 2008. It’s very different though – no travel, and we’ll be doing a half-day’s worth of sessions each day. Then, we’ll run it again in the afternoon, and again in the evening. That’s right, three blocks of sessions. This lets you see multiple tracks or pick the times that work best for you in your timezone or with your schedule. Sessions will have transcripts downloadable, and we’ll have other goodies too.

I hope you’ll join us and help with the conference layout. Get more information here at the conference site.

We’re obviously still building out things, so if you have any issues, suggestions or ideas, please drop me a note.
